Joaquin Araos

DVM, PhD, DACVAA

I obtained my DVM in Santiago de Chile in 2007. I then completed an internship at Cornell and a residency in anesthesiology at UPENN. I followed this with a PhD, studying the impact of mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal oxygenation support on lung injury. I then worked as a clinician in anesthesiology at the University of Montreal for almost two years. I joined Cornell as a lecturer in anesthesiology in 2019.
